Never would have thought I'd be in the same place as this time last year.

It's been a whole year. How long do these things live?

Thankfully, they're not vegetarian, so for the past year I've spent cultivating a small farm during dry spells; safe periods - usually during the day, just after noon for a few hours. Enough of a window to ensure a continuing resource.

I adopted a stray puppy. He seemed immune. I took him in and named him Lucky. He loves the attic, looking out over the fields. He's not old enough yet, but he'll make a great watch-dog. He seems eager.

I've ventured into the city once or twice, but it's silent. Quiet. Other than a weak breeze, and the occasional distant gunshot. But back 'home' it is, to live another day.

That's it for now. Be careful out there.

Seriously dude, if I've told you once I've told you a thousand times. Canada is a viper's nest. A nest of zombie vipers.

You should totally make the move down here. Safety in numbers and all that. Why Orange County is totally clean.

I mean, sure you'd have to spend a year in quarantine, but I'm told it's not too bad. And then you're out!

Does quarantine have Internet access and an Xbox 360? Maybe that wouldn't be so bad...

It can be arranged.

I know a guy who knows a guy.

Local Militias are patrolling here in Pennsylvania. Stay down and keep fighting the good fight.
